Description

Gulmarg is a town, a hill station, a popular skiing destination and a notified area committee in the Baramula district of the Indian state of Jammu and Kashmir. The town is situated in the Pirpanjal range in the western Himalayas.

Pahalgam is a town and a notified area committee in Anantnag district of the Indian state of Jammu & Kashmir. It is a popular tourist destination and hill station.

Itinerary

Day 01: Arrive in Srinagar: (Afternoon Local Sightseeing)

On your arrival at the Srinagar International Airport, you will be welcomed by our representative who will assist and escort you to your waiting vehicle. From the airport it is a 35 minutes’ drive through the heart of New Srinagar city. Today we will do some half a day of local sightseeing that includes Mughal Gardens & Shankaracharya. Later in the evening we’ll do Shikara ride for an hour & overnight at hotel.

Day 02: Excursion to Gulmarg

Srinagar to Gulmarg (50 kms/about 1.5 hrs.) After breakfast leave for Gulmarg (Meadow of Flowers) 2730 meters above sea level. The distance of 56 kms will be covered in about 02 hours. Gulmarg has one of the best ski slopes in the world and highest golf course with 18 holes also enjoy cable car (Gondola) for mountain ride up to Khilanmarg (At your own Cost). Later return back to Srinagar for an overnight stay in hotel.

Day 03 – Srinagar – Pahalgam

Srinagar to Pahalgam (90 kms/about 3 hrs.) After breakfast, drive to Pahalgam – situated at the junction of the Lidder and Sheeshnag rivers. Enroute stop at ancient temple sight at Avantipura Temple for the architectural experience. Pahalgam offers an experience of alpine beauty at the confluence of two wooded valleys with snow-capped peaks rising behind them. It is famous for its flora and fauna. Evening relaxes, in your hotel and the beautiful view. Overnight at the hotel in Pahalgam. 

Day 04 – Pahalgam

In Pahalgam - Breakfast at the hotel. This day after breakfast you will be driven to Aru Valley (about 11 km). Aru is a lush meadow which lies next to ravine of the Lidder River. Enjoy your tea once you reach Aru valley and start walking for few hours for delicious picnic lunch Packed by hotel (on Direct Payment basis). After enjoying the leisurely you will back to the hotel where hot tea will be waiting in the gardens. Overnight at the hotel in Pahalgam  

Day 05- Pahalgam - Srinagar 

Gulmarg to Srinagar (90 kms/about 2.5 hrs.’)

After breakfast checkout from Pahalgam Hotel & leave for Srinagar. The distance of 90 kms will be covered in about 2.5 hours. Today we will do local sightseeing of Srinagar that includes Old City, Dargah Hazratbal & Jamia Masjid. Dinner & overnight at hotel. 

Day 06: Day trip to Sonamarg

After breakfast, drive to Sonamarg (80 Kms. approx. 2.5 hrs. drive each way). Cross the town of Kangan, Mammar, Gagangir. Once you reach Sonamarg, take a 3-hour walk or horseback trip to the Thajwass glacier (At your own cost). After return Drive back to Srinagar in the evening and transfer to the Houseboat.

Day 07: Departure.

After Breakfast transfer to Airport.

• Travelling days are not included in tour package. 
• Hotels are allotted in between three star to five star
• Bookings are applicable for 02 persons staying together sharing the same room.
• In case of any diversion due to landslide /road block any additional cost incurred with be payable directly by the guest.
• Also note during Christmas & New Year eve, hotels in Luxury category will celebrate Gala Dinner, which is mandatory for its entire resident guest to attend & settle the bill on direct payment basis.
