Description

Sonamarg or Sonmarg, known as Sonamarag in Kashmiri, is a hill station located in the Ganderbal District of Jammu and Kashmir, India. It is located about 62 kilometers from Ganderbal Town and 80 kilometres northeast of the capital city, Srinagar.

Itinerary

Day 01: Hometown – Srinagar – Sonmarg 

Arrive at Srinagar airport you will be received and transferred to Sonmarg. On Arrival at Sonmarg check in to Hotel. Overnight at Sonmarg. 

Day 02: Sonmarg – Kargil 

After breakfast we’ll drive to Kargil via Zojila Pass and Drass (second coldest inhabitant place in the world), visit Vijay Samark (War Memorial). Overnight at Kargil. 

Day 03: Kargil – Leh 

After breakfast we’ll proceed to Leh, visit Fotula Pass, Namkila Pass, Moonland, Sangam of Indus & Zanskar River, Magnetic Hill, Pathar Sahib Gurudwara. Overnight at Leh .

Day 04: Leh Local seightseeing (Shey, Thiksey & Hemis)

Today drive towards Shanti Stupa, Leh palace and Hall of fame, Sonam Wangchuk school, Shey, Thiksey monastery. At the end of the day you get acclimatized with the high altitude. Overnight at Leh.

Day 05: Leh -Nubra Via (Kharding)

After breakfast proceed to Nubra Valley interesting landscapes which is down to Leh in terms of altitude. So while climbing through some rough and snaky turns soon we’ll hit the height KHARDONGLA PASS(18,380 ft). Arrive at Nubra Valley. Evening You can enjoy camel ride and desert in Nubra Valley Overnight at Nubra Valley 

Day 06:  Nubra –Turtuk - Nubra

After breakfast day visit to Turtuk- an unknown little hamlet, flanked by Nubra on one side and Baltistan on the other, lies along the shores of Shyok River. Visit visit Turtuk wooden bridge, Monastery and back to Nubra for stay. Overnight at Nubra Valley 

Day 07:  Nubra - Pangong via (Shyok) 

After breakfast and proceed to world famous Pangong Lake to catch the beautiful view of tranquil lake in the morning sun-rays. Enroute cross Shyok River. Arrive at Pangong. Overnight at Pangong Lake.

Day 08: Pangong – Leh 

After enjoying by catching the beautiful view of tranquil lake in the morning sun-rays we’ll proceed to Leh .Overnight at Leh. 

Day 09: Leh – Hometown

After breakfast drive to Airport to board the flight for onward destination and the tour concludes here. Departure 

Terms & Conditions

• Tour will start from destination.
• Car A/c will off during hill station. 
• Book your Package at least 60days before. 
• Travelling days are not included in tour package. 
• Hotels are allotted in between three star to five star
• Bookings are applicable for 02 persons staying together sharing the same room.
• In case of any diversion due to landslide /road block any additional cost incurred with be payable directly by the guest.
• Also note during Christmas & New Year eve, hotels in Luxury category will celebrate Gala Dinner, which is mandatory for its entire resident guest to attend & settle the bill on direct payment basis.
• Bookings are subject to availability with the hotel.
• Service Tax extra (as applicable).
• Package rates are subject to change without any prior notice
• Cost does not include additional sightseeing or usage of vehicle, any services apart from the above designed itinerary.
• Tour cost does not include - Guide Charges, Porter Charges, Entry Fees and all the Personal Expenses Like - Laundry, Alcoholic & non Alcoholic beverages, Food (if not included), or any other item not specified in the inclusions.
• Any additional facilities like Pick up and drop and previous day Accommodation will be charged at additional cost.
• Rates are not valid on High season surcharge and Government service tax.
• Shri Datta Holidays  will provide alternate or similar category of hotel in case the hotel mentioned in itinerary is not available
• All cancellations & amendments will be done as per hotel policy.
• The package cannot be combined with any other offer
• The guest must carry photo identification like Passport/Driving License/Voter ID Card IN ORIGINAL at the point of check in at the hotel.
